- time of measurement : 22.8.2010 -
- defining the status of reception -
3 662 L_ETV network : I've identified an ideal state of quality with absolutely zero error rate bBER<10-6 which is related to
real gain growth of more than MER=12 dB _ MERp=17 dB
4 055 R_Voice of America : I measured a stable gain margin of more than 7 dB with a slightly oscillating peak MER in narrow
range from MER=11.5 to 11.9 dB
- Transition to packet-satellite NSS 12 is strongly reflected in the measured quality of income as follows.Simple description
of the relationship between radiant relied diagram and the resulting quality of the intake mention at the beginning : >>>
My experience has confirmed to me that the sat.providers defined levels emitted flux is often significantly different from the
real situation of the measuring point.Based on this experience, I declare that the footprint diagrams are not the major factor
in the design of the external high fequency unit, because they are not precise and often introduced. The following measurement
results confirm this fact from the current practice that each transponder on the same footprint diagram / Global or West Hemi .../
we can propose another radiant chart , in which to achieve the same quality of income in two different packets in the same
footprint is to install the antenna with different average 200-400+ cm.
